As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA,CA), I've always enjoyed balancing the books, diving into details, and providing financial insight.
I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (concentration in Accounting) and have a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
I started my career at Deloitte in Vancouver B.C., working with small and large corporations in the audit and assurance function. After Deloitte, I specialized in financial reporting and process optimization for private and public companies. My responsibilities included preparing and reviewing financial statements, providing accounting and financial reporting expertise for enterprise wide projects, developing and maintaining policies to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and ensuring strong controls over financial reporting.
After 15 years of working in corporate accounting, with my most recent role being the director of financial reporting, I decided the best fit for me and my young family is to start my own venture. This is how ClearFocus Accounting started.
I am excited to channel my strengths and past experiences to help take care of your numbers.
